GTA IV " The Lost & the Damned"

After waiting for what seems like forever GTA4 will soon have downloadable content but its all exclusive to the xbox 360 because of Microsoft’s $50 million deal for the rights. Back in 2006 it was announced that content would feature hours of new game play with entirely new characters & scenarios, it was due to be released in august 2008 but due to delays it had to held back until now. The first chapter is going to be called “the lost & the damned” & is due for release on the 17th of February. The player will control the character of johnny klebitz a biker from the liberty city gang known as the lost, the gang was featured in the main game seven times already. Not many details are available at the moment but the developers say it will show gamers a new side to liberty city. Details on the price of the expansion pack have not been officially released yet but if I was to make a guess I would say 20 euros, whether or not it will be worth the price tag is another story, I will of course be giving it a hands on test when its released next month & a review will be sure to follow.

Bobbi Brown "fun kit" sneak peek

Coming soon from bobbi brown is this really fab looking palette based on the palette she herself uses for fashion week so its no wonder she calls it “the fun kit” nor is it any wonder she sees it as “a library of beautiful bolts of colour”. I have to say for the price it really is going to be bargain, so what do you get? Well it’s a fold out palette that contains 35 matte shadows from bright pinks to greens & dark blues. When it launches in march it will be accompanied by a set of four cream lip colours & 6 new clip glosses which will snap easily into the custom palettes, even though march was given as a the main release date for the collection there are rumours that some sets may be available as early as February.

Apple removes DRM

Good news for music fans today. Apple the giants that own the ever popular music site itunes have finally revealed plans to remove their digital copy protections from their downloads. in the past Apple have faced controversy & criticism over their digital rights management system - for me personally that’s the exact reason why I avoided using itunes. Apple used the digital rights to stop music from being shared & downloaded onto other devices. Finally faced with so much competition from similar sites they have no choice but to get rid of the system but real question is will it make so much of a difference as people will always find ways to get the material for less or in most cases for nothing, it looks like a little too late but then time will tell as they have also started to slash the prices of certain albums & tunes.
