Advanced sales for THQ Inc.'s Red Faction Guerilla for Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3 and Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 increased this week at retailer Amazon.com prior to the release of the title next week.On Fri., the Red Faction Guerilla Xbox 360 SKU held a 327 percent sales increase to rank at No. 62, while the PS3 SKU held a 309 percent sales increase to rank at No. 221 in Amazon's Video Games division.
Amazon is offering an exclusive golden sledge hammer pre-order bonus to use in-game.Red Faction Guerilla is the latest entry in the franchise.The third-person action title, to be released June 2, will include destructible open-world environments in a Mars-based sci-fi setting. The final game will include multiplayer functionality for up to 16 players on Xbox Live or Playstation Network. I'm getting it on the 2nd so expect a full review over the next week or two - depending of course on how the week goes.
